Terms of Use
The rules for sharing your voice, making connections and using OiVox respectfully.
01. The service and your agreement
These terms cover the OiVox app and website. OiVox starts with a 7-second recording in your own words. Sharing opens Voice Earth, where you can discover voices by country, leave hearts and request a connection. Messages and one-to-one calls follow mutual acceptance. AI can help with translation, opening lines and topics. Your mandatory consumer rights are preserved.
02. Eligibility and account security
Meet the service’s age and eligibility requirements, provide accurate information and protect your sign-in details. Do not impersonate another person, transfer or sell accounts, or create accounts to evade a block or enforcement action. Share only content you have the right to use. Contact Support if you suspect unauthorised access.
03. Friendship and respectful conversation
A heart expresses interest in a voice. A connection request is an invitation, not an entitlement to attention. Respect rejection, silence and boundaries. No harassment, threats, discrimination, sexual exploitation, targeting minors, scams, requests for money or sharing private information without permission. The Community Guidelines form part of these rules.
04. Content and permissions
You keep ownership of your content. To provide the service, you give OiVox a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, transmit, reproduce and display it for the features you use and for moderation. Obtain permission from anyone whose voice or image you share. Recording or redistributing a private conversation without consent can violate these rules and applicable law.
05. Translation, prompts and calls
AI translations, opening lines and topic suggestions are optional conversation aids, not guarantees of accuracy or professional advice. Choose what you send and check important meaning with the other person. Call quality depends on devices, permissions and connectivity. OiVox is not an emergency communication service. Do not treat profile details or badges as a guarantee of someone’s identity, intentions or conduct.
06. Coins, purchases and feature limits
Some features use coins. Check the displayed cost, price and free allowance before using a paid feature or making a purchase. Digital purchases in the iOS app follow applicable App Store billing rules; currency bought through in-app purchase does not expire. Restore purchases that are eligible for restoration; consumable coins are different. For a store-billed refund, use that store’s refund process or contact Support for help identifying the purchase.
07. Reports and enforcement
Report harmful content using the in-app controls and block unwanted contact. Content or accounts may be restricted to enforce these rules, protect users, comply with law or investigate abuse. Where appropriate, users can contact Support about a restriction or request a review. Safety reports should include the relevant voice, message or interaction and approximate time.
08. Stopping use and deletion
You can stop using OiVox and initiate account deletion from the account controls. Read the confirmation before proceeding, including the effect on shared content, remaining coins and purchases, and any records retained for legal or safety reasons. Logging out or uninstalling does not delete your account. Contact Support if you cannot access your account or need help with a data request.
09. Availability and legal responsibility
Availability and call quality depend on devices, permissions and connectivity. Features may change or be interrupted. OiVox does not guarantee friendship, replies, identity or another person’s conduct. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. OiVox is not an emergency communication service.
10. Changes and contact
Material changes to these terms will be communicated through an updated version and appropriate service notices. Mandatory laws and consumer protections that apply to you remain in force, including any right to bring a claim in a court available to you by law. For questions, complaints or a request to review a restriction, use the contact email on our Support page.
