Community Guidelines
Different countries. Shared respect. Help make every hello a welcome one.
01. Come with curiosity
OiVox starts with your own voice and is about friendship and cultural exchange. Record in your own words. Listen with curiosity and respect different languages, accents and cultures. Hearts express interest in a voice; do not use them to rank or objectify people.
02. Respect boundaries
Messaging and one-to-one calls follow mutual acceptance of a connection request. No harassment, threats, stalking, bullying, unwanted sexual attention or repeated requests after someone declines. Sexually explicit or pornographic content, sexual solicitation and paid sexual services are prohibited. Respect someone’s choice to decline or end a conversation.
03. No hate or exploitation
Do not target people based on nationality, ethnicity, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability or other protected characteristics. Sexual exploitation, child abuse material, grooming and credible threats are prohibited. For immediate danger, contact local emergency services.
04. Be yourself, without impersonation
Use a nickname if you prefer, but do not impersonate another person, misrepresent your identity, use stolen photos, or pass off someone else’s recording as your own. Share only media you have permission to use.
05. Keep money and scams out
No phishing, financial schemes, unsolicited advertising or pressure to send money, gifts or credentials. Do not use friendship as a pretext to recruit, sell or exploit. Be cautious about requests to move quickly to private channels.
06. Protect private conversations
Do not publish someone’s address, private contact details, messages, voice or video without permission. Obtain consent before recording, screenshotting or sharing private interactions. Never post sensitive personal information to pressure or expose another person.
07. Report concerns and stop contact
Report a harmful voice, message or user with the in-app Report control. Block unwanted contact and end a call whenever you need to. Include the relevant username, approximate time and a concise description; avoid unrelated private information. You can also prepare an email on the Support page, including a request to review a restriction. In immediate danger, contact local emergency services.
